A first post for a new blog! This blog will be dedicated to political science in general but American politics in particular. We will examine opinion polls, hot-button political issues, partisanship in the electorate, recent innovations in analysis, and the current trends in the science of politics. Oh yeah, and we’ll probably get into a few political issues as well.

Donald M. Gooch is an Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Department of History & Political Science at Arkansas Tech University. PhD in Political Science, MU-Columbia 2009. Dr. Gooch is an expert in American politics and public policy. He is the Pre-Law advisor and faculty sponsor for the Pre-Law Society at ATU.
